We repair and service all makes of guitar amps, these usually have a hard life and suffer from broken or “noisy” switches and potentiometers, broken jack connections, dry joints, hum and feedback.

Sometimes we are asked if we can modify an amplifier to obtain a different sound, this is usually to add some distortion to get a more” vintage” sound, this was recently undertaken on an amplifier where the customer had got the information on how to carry out the modification but thought better of the idea once they saw how complicated circuits can be, we were able to carry out the modification and the customer went away with an amplifier that the Kinks would have been proud of.
