These days the repair of TV’s is in decline, this is due to TV’s being made cheaply and often the cost of parts exceeds the cost of a new tv. Usually it’s only the better brand sets that are worth repairing, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sony, Bang & Olufsen, etc.

TV’s with broken screens or lines missing are not worth repairing due to the high cost of the replacement screen.

We still get asked to repair Video recorders, This is usually because the customer has sentimental content ie wedding videos still on VHS or Betamax. We can inspect these machines for repair but a lack of spares available is a large stumbling block, this is also the case with DVD players.

We can look at any make and model but spares availability and cost are deciding factors on whether the repair is viable.
