About & Charges

I qualified at Hull College in 1997 and gained a City & Guilds in electronics servicing.

I then spent the next 20 years as a workshop engineer at a busy television repair shop in Hull, East Riding Of Yorkshire.

The shop I worked for was a Bang & Olufsen dealer so I was trained up by B&O to service their products.

Move forward 20 years and the TV trade suffered a major decline and as such the firm I worked for went into liquidation.

I then decided that I would start up East Riding Electronics and provide a much needed repair service catering in particular for repairs to Vintage HI-Fi.

We cover the Hull and surrounding villages including, Beverley, Brough, North Ferriby, Hessle, Elloughton, Walkington etc

Customers bringing their faulty equipment directly to the workshop will need to pay an inspection fee of £40 for their equipment to be inspected (payable when dropping their equipment off). From this inspection, a quote will be given for the cost of repair. The initial inspection fee will be deducted from the final bill if the repair is completed.
